December 25, 20214 yr Thought of Metal music, first, Steve...🙂...Just this past week, while scanning through the musical "CDs"...a bit old-fashioned, you might say...🙂...in the local Disc-Replay stores...I'd run into the Metal Section...but had skipped it... Anyway, seriously...wonderful pictures of AA, the underbelly shines in #1 and the upperbelly shines in #2 are quite contrasting and stunning...!

Got some work done on the tail...the sun hitting it just right to produce another memorable pic. 🙂 Still more work to do, but I can't help taking her up into the bright sunlight to see if I can blind other pilots! 🤣 Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here

DId you have some eye work do as well? 7 hours ago, rmeier said: That looks incredible Steve! I am in awe! Can't wait to see the finished product, Thanks! The basic paint it done, now comes the task of tweaking the metal appearance....you have to do that on each model to get it looking right. (pretty much the limit of full correctability with glasses, had reached, for my long-distance vision, ...that's where the sharpest details of the new world now amaze me). BTW, I recall your earlier comment, ".... swear that even though the overall brightness in the sim is not any greater than looking at this white Avsim page...I find myself squinting when I see the sun hit that metal just right..."...🙂...that's where I am now...I never knew these Avsim pages are so bright....🙂...

I've always been light sensitive and had to wear sunglasses outside....but since my cataract surgeries this year, even more so. But things are so much more clearer! Painting bare metal and taking the paint up in the sim is almost a sunglasses event now. LOL.
