Can any please tell where I can find the community folder in the Steam version as I have some aircraft addons to put in.

i  got  the  steam  version and  my community folder  is  in the  same  place  i had  installed   msfs  in   so  for  me  i  installed  msfs  in  E  drive

This is NOT true in all cases.

In MY case, the above folder is completely empty. Instead, my Community folder is located at G:\FlightSim\Community.

I believe the reason for this is dependent on where one tells the sim to install the data on the first run. The best way to find one's Community folder is to open one's UserCfg.opt file (located at C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator) in a text file editor and look at the very last line in that file, "InstalledPackagesPath".

Good advise. The only thing I would add is make sure you have file explorer set to show hidden files and directories.

EDIT: Also, this has nothing to do with what you were asking but just a friendly warning since you are on Steam (and for all other Steam users). Never, Never, NEVER run verify file integrity check in Steam for MSFS (unless you want to do a complete reinstall)
