RDPresets Rotterdam problem

That looks like a PBR ground texture issue.  I believe V4 had an issue like that in 4.4 in which PBR textures would be floating above the scenery similar to that.  4.5 fixed it if I remember correctly.

that could well be, although for me it looks like it isn't the ground texture. It somehow looks like it's the runway/taxiway/apron lights have a huge vertical glow , only visible from a certain distance.  On approach even the entire airport shines through fog or a low cloud layer from 15 miles away.

Very weird, I have never seen anything like that.

Would be really interesting to know if I'm the only one with that issue.

Encouraging response from one of the developers.....

"We have listened to the feedback from the community and are currently working hard on fixing the things users have been complaining about when it comes to EHRD We will release a free update as soon as possible as we want everybody to be happy with our products."

This was on FSElite.

You mean to say a developer rushed out an unfinished product to make some money, then relied on the 'community' to point out what needs to be fixed,  kind of like 'pay to beta'

Well imagine my shock.

Good to know, but if that is the new style of support - leaving support mails unanswered (not even acknowledged), and write just something on any website...

Not for me in future.

By the way, is this EHRD working with P3Dv4.5 please ?

They are apparently working on a hotfix for P3Dv4.

I have just watched part of a Chewwy video of a flight from EHRD to LOWI, and he is using this RD Presets Rotterdam scenery for the flight. He is not very impressed with it, and I have to agree with him. The level of detail (in both the 3D models and textures) is way below what I would expect from a payware airport addon in 2022. I am extremely disappointed by this, because I would love to have a detailed version of Rotterdam airport to visit with the ORBx TrueEarth Netherlands package surrounding it. However, there is no chance of me purchasing this airport unless they release a version 2 with massively upgraded graphics.

I'm definitely suffering from a lack of confidence when it comes to Rdpresets!

Requested a livery from the and it took 6 months to complete. During that period all I got were false promises.

Not impressed!
