Honeycomb Bravo Flaps Switch P3D v4.5

Featured Replies

I just took delivery of a Honeycomb Bravo Quadrant and I'm having difficulty in the Flaps Switch operation. Here is the background.

I have a fresh Windows 10 installation and a fresh installation of P3D v4.5. I installed all of my extras, ie: Orbx, UTL, RXP etc. I mounted my Bravo Quadrant and plugged it in. Windows 10 detected it and immediatly fetched drivers. I saw the notice box that it was recognized as Honeycomb Bravo Quadrant. I then went to Aerosoft/Honeycomb site and downloaded the software for MSFS/P3D. I tried using the software to set it up but it was confusing in that I couldn't tell if there was any acknowledgement of the control assignments. So, I gave that up and went into P3D to configure the Quadrant. I selected Flaps Switch up, raise Flaps incrementally and Flaps Switch down, lower Flaps incrementally. When I had made my choices I loaded up the Carenado PA 31 Navajo to test the yoke. Everything worked as expected except the Flap. When I click the switch for either direction it operates the Flaps full travel and not incrementally. I double checked that I chose incrementally and I tried it with both Action on Release and without that checked. I also checked operation with a different controller, the Flightsim Stuff Cessna style Quadrant which has trim and flap control. That worked incrementally. Do any of you have experience setting up the Bravo under P3D? Maybe I should remove the mapping software. Any help appreciated.

Thanks
