January 15, 20224 yr Pretty sure the previous forecast had the chip shortage ending by the fourth quarter of 2021. I am firmly in the camp of "I will believe it when I see it". January 26, 20224 yr All of the Microcenter's around me have AMD cards stacked from the floor to ceiling. No Nvidia cards higher than a 1650. There are plenty sitting on Ebay though. So basically, Nvidia has to produce enough to surpass scalper demand or nothing changes. They'd have to saturate the market with more cards than there are buyers, which would take an allocation of resources. I will believe it when I see it. Until then, I call shens. /I have a Strix 3090 that just died from the red light of death, so I'm waiting on the RMA process. Now would be a good time for the generation to arrive.
January 28, 20224 yr I see AMD cards here too. On paper they look in the same class as the Nvidia but with the low relative demand I'm wondering if there is a difference?
