February 4, 20224 yr same issue. So annoying. this sim is ruined by all these constant server issues. 7900x3d , 64gb 6200mhz 30CL Ram, RTX 3080
February 4, 20224 yr It is quite frustrating. A Game you pay for, with or without paid extras (it's up to each one but the sum can be high if you also add peripherals), you take some free time to escape, as fun training or whatever... and you find that you can't access your configuration data in the cloud. Sure, there is the offline option but then why from the configuration menu there is no option to make a backup of the custom settings to save directly to the pc? (If there is that option is my fault but I have not found it). To "fly" offline means to configure from 0, the time you could spend on a short flight is used to reconfigure, then you don't have time for much more if you are short of time and you close the simulator. Errors, failures, in principle can be understood, but that Microsoft has frequent connectivity errors with their servers and your own data, is something that I find difficult to understand. February 4, 20224 yr What's the big deal? It makes no difference whether it can sync to the cloud or not as far as I can see?

(refer to first page) Simply click on the X of that window and MSFS will load without further problem. It should not be that way, I know, but there are so many other things in life that should not be "that way"! Until they fix it, we can still play with no other obstacle.
