February 5, 20224 yr Hello. Ever since the new update came out I have been unable to update my game. I'm using the Steam version, premium deluxe. I have cleaned up my community folder, tried fully reinstalling the entire game twice, but during the installation one archive would always roll the installation progress back several gigabytes. That archive is "fs-base 0.1.211.fspatch.zip". It goes to decompressing it and resets back to downloading it again over and over again. It's an endless cycle. I would highly appreciate any help.
February 5, 20224 yr I had this once. I had success by stopping the installation, finding the exact named file on your hard disk (you might need to do a search for the name), deleting the file, then starting the installation again. Frustrating I know! It happens to quite a few people. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. February 5, 20224 yr Author Funny thing is that every time it does that I alt+f4 the game, go to the "Official" folder and delete the files, then start again, only to find that it doesn't work.

February 5, 20224 yr i had the same issue as your earlier this week and got some help from some kind people from this forum. I have avast and disabling all security modules and even the 'ransomware shield' did not help (you said you had disabled it but make sure all modules are disabled because most AV have lots of bloatware features 😇 nowadays). What i ended up doing is deleting my full 'fs-base' folder (it's around 13GB, backup if unsure), after that it redownloaded about 10GB (instead of the 1GB needed for the update) but all went fine. Well, to be very precise, it installed correctly the fs-base folder but then i had the loop on the fs-base-ai-traffic folder, so i deleted that one too (very small) and the update could be completed. Please try that, hopefully it will work for you too. 🍺 Edited February 5, 20224 yr by Bad_T
