May 16, 200719 yr Just a thought, TIle Proxy dominates the FSX forum. Maybee it should have one of its own.Gary TrammellPro Rodeo Announcer
May 16, 200719 yr I was thinking the same thing, though not due to clutter but to have an area for support etc... in one spot. Maybe a subforum for tileproxy support and discussion. Ian.
May 16, 200719 yr Great idea.O.T. Have to ask about your sig? I went to a rodeo in Jackson hole last summer and one in Evanston, Wy. when my landing gear failed there and I was stuck for a week. Any chance you were the announcer?http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/rxp-pilot.jpg Geofa WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!

May 16, 200719 yr I am pretty sure the flurry of TileProxy threads is going to die down pretty quickly.Anyway, SP1 is now the topic of the day.
May 16, 200719 yr Author Are we ok using TP with new update??Don't want to lose TP - taken too long to get it to work. :-)
May 16, 200719 yr Geof,Christian and TileProxy definitely deserve a proper forum. There are other fora for specific scenery programs, and TileProxy has too many enthusiastic supporters to be left out.Best regards.Luis Hot, humid Caribbean paradise!
May 16, 200719 yr I think that is a good idea too. Who wants to write up a description of the forum? I will open it tonight when I get home from work, if I have a description to post with it.
May 16, 200719 yr Yes, my Beta 3 release supports the FSX SP1 just fine. Thanks to Phil for adding me to the Beta group in the last minute. I was able to make all necessary fixes to support the new simulator release. And it works even more efficient than before.
May 17, 200719 yr TP Beta 3 works with the FSX SP1. You can install it over an existing TileProxy installation. I find the Beta 3 to work OK with Windows XP, but I get some strange effects on Vista, where some textures become blurrier instead of crisper when circling over a spot.
May 17, 200719 yr TileProxy now has its own forum and it is located in the Freeware section of the forum system. Chistian will be posting things in there later I am sure and later today, I will move some of the more recent TileProxy threads from here to there.
May 17, 200719 yr Thank you very much. Having a separate forum for TileProxy issues will certainly keep the FSX forum more clutter-free and people will find it easyier to look for solutions for TileProxy issues and to ask questions.Maybe this new forum helps preventing the same questions from popping up over and over again, because the threads are then grouped together and easier to find. Also since I am the moderator over there, I can make some important FAQ threads "sticky".
