You can't choose a size, but Bijan has made adjustments to tree sizes in different parts of the word to match region. Maybe he can chime in?

I noticed in the PNW Bijan tress are a tad too big. Just a touch smaller would suffice.

I find the trees in SW Ontario are all like 100 feet tall. Looks dumb.

Send Bijan an e-mail and ask him to consider making them smaller. He's usually very accommodating.

Update: 7.2 was just released and he updated the trees in AU after WU7.

 There is no such thing as 100 feet trees in the season mod for auto generated trees. People tend to exaggerate. 😉  

All trees are resized to match real size trees. Some people prefer larger or smaller but my goal is to create as close match as possible.

Yeah I’ll send you a pic tonight. Basically around the Windsor and London Ontario areas. 

The fact that 90% of the world is covered with what seem to be California Redwood height forests is pretty ridiculous.

It seems clear there ability to control height on a more local basis is limited and they prefer too-big over too-small ,

Better vegetation makes a huge difference. I have been using the Aotearoa Creations NZ vegetation mods for a while and the difference in New Zealand for me is profound (though there is always a few of the "I never use mods, they are rip-offs" types that claim they see no difference) .

Definitely worth a try if you are familiar with New Zealand in real life.

Disclaimer:  the devs have struggled after every patch to keep it functioning and there is often a severe frame rate hit especially in the first 30 seconds after spawning while it all loads. Apparently the modded scenery files load after you spawn rather than during the original load process.  Seems fine after that though.
