AH P3D Freeware Downloadable from Orbx Now

Got the Zin, Tecnam, Socata and Pucara. Did a quick spin with the Tecnam, seems nice. The beautiful thing is when they are installed into the Orbx Library the folders are Addon xml folder format. This is good for backing them up and trying them out in any future version of Prepar3d.

There will be no update for those ones, so most probably those will not work correctly or even at all in new version of P3D

Is there a way to install P3Dv4 "only" aircraft like the C-119 in P3Dv5 with the OrbX installer ? I've use the registry hack to install other aircraft but OrbX tells me scenery.cfg is corrupt or missing.

Correction - solved the scenery.cfg by creating ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4 folder and populating it with files from the P3Dv5 folder but I'm not getting complaints that terrain.cfg is corrupt or missing - in this case there is a file there but I'm guessing since it's from p3Dv5 OrbX doesn't like it

I installed the He-111 in P3D4 with the library method. I then copied the plane from the ORBX p3d4 directory to the p3d5 directory. The sim crashed instantly, when I loaded the plane.

I bought the C-119 before and have in installer. This can be installed in v5 and it works. I think I even got a confirmation somewhere it works in v5, before I bought it.

OS=WIN11 Home, Sim=P3D5 5.3 (P3D4 and FSX for install reasons)
Addons=ORBX, ASCA, AS, TOGA and tons of sceneries, aircraft

MB=Gigabyte AORUS Z790 Elite AX, CPU=i13900K, Cooling=Be quiet! Pure Loop II FX
GPU=KFA2 RTX3090 24 GB, RAM=64 GB DDR5-5600, HOTAS=Logitech G Saitek X52 Pro

I've managed to get around the problem - found a default terrain.cfg that OrbX suggest using in case of problems and putting that in the fake v4 ProgramData folder got the orbX installer working.

Cheers.
