Do you have the framerate limiter set to "Unlimited"? On balance your system is better than mine and I have no stutters at all. My sim experience is far superior if I set the limiter to Unlimited.

yes tried unlimited and still there. with this rig I should be getting smooth with my current settings. not anywhere near maxed.its not a FPS stutter. more like a every 5-10 sec stutter. most noted when in outside view but thats just because of more visibility I think. just gotta look harder when in cockpit. I did have some addon aircraft when I did SP1. although I did uninstall/reinstall fsx ontop of them.(dont know if that was good or not)

yes I do have that in my fsx.cfg. what we are talking about here is different.not panning stuttersbut just general scenery movement like every 5-10 sec it will just stutter on my machine which as posted earlier "a more than capable piece of hardware"

maybe a tweak will help you/ US out!! cause Im getting the exact same result as you.

I think the word stuttering is being used to general on here and is vague.you were just referring to cockpit pan-rate which was fixed with the bufferpool=500000 fsx.cfg fix.most people on here(at least me)have a different stutter. ITs a scenery loading stutter that occurs no matter what setting you are at even with mid to high end system hardware.

actually pre-SP1 was better for me in the area of stutters. now Im getting them for the first time. also cockpit was cured with the bufferpool modifier pre SP1 so all in all pre SP1 is better for me I think.

A321 fans continue to rotate with engines OFF.

Hihopefully someone here can help me...i did a clean install of fsx with sp1 and there is no third party software on at all.Now i seem to get the strangest planes on the planet.....:the glider now has a canopy hanging from te bottom of it and wings which are felxing down.The microlight now has wings which face sidewards rather than in front and there doesnt seem to be any prop.The 737 has wheels which look more like a BAE 146 and my processor sounds although it is having to work harder than it should to display them.I dont have the problem without sp1 and my system is as follows: Vista x64, AMD 4200 x 2, Sapphire X800GTO, 1.5GB RAM.any help to get FSX back from Alice in Wonderland would be appreciated...Paul
