Checking out the improved Longreach YLRE

There's not a lot around Longreach, WA except for cattle stations ( really big cattle stations) and space. It's a 2.5 hour flight to Mackay on the coast. Taking a look around the upgraded airport can reveal some interesting things though. MSFS has done a great job here and in Mackay.

The town where Qantas began to grow(also location of Qantas Museum) after it was born in  Winton (not far away) over 101 years ago.
