Hi there again,

We just wanted to show you how realistic our work-in-progress LNAV algorithm will be, and we found a nice example. While the procedure being showcased has changed a bit since the time the real-life photo was taken, you can see how accurately we model the FMS' behaviour when turns are overshot. This is the kind of detail we obsess over, and you can expect this level of complexity in our entire FMS suite (including VNAV!)

I’m just giddy of the prospect of having all these accurate systems in an A380, which is slated to make flight sim history.

I know you guys have heard this many times already, but you guys are awesome!

Just wondering, on the right picture we can see the procedure using Navigraph navdata, does it give you the exact same thing using MSFS navdata?

It depends. You may not get the same (up to date) approach procedures with MSFS default database. But with a similar approach it would still look the same as the calculation of the lateral path (done by the fms in the background) is the same.

Thanks, it's good to know,

I won't have to subscribe to Navigraph unless it's mandatory by future addons, like Fenix or Inibuilds.

We have a minor texture issue with the latest dev and exp branch. Fix is on the way (a few minutes to build the update).
