Trying to find my way around painting liveries for this sim. How do you guys (or gals) see your work as you progress ? I have to load the sim, go into an airport and go to outside view to see what I have changed. I cannot get the Hangar to work anymore so in sim outside view is it and it takes forever.

Hey Paul.

I'm not a painter, but actually ran across this the other day about some of the ongoing problems faced by those that do and how they are adapting.    Hope it helps.

If you are not using Blender, I would suggest it is worth the effort to learn - not easy, but worth persisting until you get it!  Once you have the hang of it, you can see the 3D model with the paint on it, and move it around in all directions to ensure you are happy with it.  Then import the saved texture files from Blender into Photoshop or other paint software and tidy them up.  That way you have a really good idea of how its going to look and only really need to go to the sim model once or twice to ensure the tidying-up you have done is good to go.

I just went in and tried navigating around the hangar and am able to do so, however the mouse button to allow panning has changed. Perhaps try using each button on your mouse as you attempt to pan?
