Update on Freeware A350 by Digital Flight Dynamics team

Featured Replies

I believe it's a freeware airplane project (correct me if I'm wrong if it's not freeware), so I think we should moderate our expectations. But anyways, the team making the A350, Digital Flight Dynamics, just did an update and a sample takeoff video of their A350.  They still have a long way to go, but check this video out of their progress so far:

It's good they are doing a A350. Yes they have a long way to go. They are doing everything from scratch.

No copy from Default! 🙂

I was excited initially when they said they were doing this project as this is now my absolute favourite aircraft but My expectations have been lowered a lot with the impression i get that this is two to three years out and the developer doesn't appear to have the resources to rapidly flesh this thing out. We will see what happens in the coming months i guess. In the mean time im hoping someone does a pmdg/fenix level A330 classic/NEO that will be the stopgap measure until the A350 can be done with justice.
