February 22, 20224 yr I'm sure I'm not alone with this one, but perhaps I am! However, I find it a real immersion killer when flying into an airport and then see dozens or hundreds of cars all start popping into view just as I'm flying within a very close proximity of the airport, sometimes, literally I'll be flying over the end of the runway when this happens. It's not just vehicles, but also baggage carts. A perfect example is flying into the payware of NZQH into Rwy 05, the entire car parks and baggage carts to the right of the runway start loading, literally as I fly over the perimeter of the airport, so very close, we're not talking about miles away. This is not the only airport, there is Newcastle and Bristol to name only three. I have contacted a couple of the devs and they both say the same thing... that it's a restriction with the SDK... but yet I have just installed EGSS Stansted freeware today, this scenery also has a large area with many cars present but such an issue is not seen. Any ideas and thoughts would be appreciated guys. February 22, 20224 yr the dev for egss might use his own custom models for cars not the default sdk models. i hate the popping in aswell even the taxi way signs are worse, never used to be this bad before xbox downgrade.

February 22, 20224 yr One of my favorite things before SU5 about this sim was that there was almost no pop-ins with scenery or weather. It's a real bummer because it was perfect, but everything changed for the worst (regarding pop-ins) after that update. I'm really hopeful they can figure this out or add some sort of slider that allows people with fasters machines to utilize the power and not have pop-ins.

I hope so too, but its very difficult to get the devs attention on this. I have filed several bug reports on zendesk and posted in the main mfs forums but nothing.. To get this to attention we need alot of people to vote on topic and its hard..

February 22, 20224 yr This is as bad as morphing terrain. Which is an ongoing, barely recognised problem too, just like this popping in of scenery

February 24, 20224 yr if you want to see late loading objects buy the new heathrow, taxi way signs popping in right on you, and apron spot lights look like they are motion sensor lights when you get close they turn on, Edited February 24, 20224 yr by steve 86
February 24, 20224 yr I guess its a trade off between popping in or accepting stutters. So many objects to render in today's scenery.
