LatinVFR road traffic addon

Featured Replies

Just saw this news item on FSelite. I’m super excited about this one but one thing I want to know is if it will fix the problem of disappearing cars. The road traffic only persists for a few seconds and if you watch any car it disappears too quickly spoiling the immersion. They should persist longer at least for folks that have beefy systems.

Xplane has the best implementation of road traffic. Cars don’t disappear and they have yellow headlamps and red tail lamps which makes vfr at night a treat esp if you fly a chopper over dense LA traffic.

so I’m hoping this addon can move the MSFS road traffic to that level of realism.

A little search goes a long way. 🙂

Just read thru that link now. Disappointed that it doesn’t modify road traffic behavior only replaces the models. Will give it  a pass. Models are not the problem. It’s the disappearing bug that annoys me.

My main issue is cars driving under bridges. It does improve the way the vehicles look. That's a plus!

Here is a screengrab of LatinVFR Traffic.  Vehicles are now solid rather than ghost like, with much better colours.

No it simply makes the 3d car sprites better aesthetically . Doesn't fix the erratic spawning and AI driving behavior.

Still a great visual improvement over default ai traffic models.
