Still a fairly basic vanilla install that I'm using.  I've got no ILS freqs in my sim.  This comes from Asobo right?  I don't need Navigraph to have localizer freqs right?

Check your content.xml.  Should have an entry <Package name="fs-base-nav" active="true"/> which should give you navdata shipped with the sim.

You're on the new rig now, so I wouldn't think any of your old Navigraph sub would be interfering  - I don't think anything like that is in the FS cloud. 

Yep it shows that file and the entry you described.  I've checked multiple airports and multiple aircraft.  VORs work fine but no ILSs.

Ahhhh gotta love this sim.

I know that there are several Flightbeam Airports where there is no SID/STAR/ILS data at all (i.e. KPDX).  They have acknowledged the issue but they are not going to fix it (if they were they would have done it already, its been over a year).  I have bought two airports from them, but alas it is now a 'lessons learned' for me.  So maybe it is with some of your custom airports?

Before a reinstall, try the following..

If you're on WIN11, settings, apps, apps & features, scroll down to MSFS2020 and click the 3 dots, advanced options, click repair.

If that doesn't do it, then perhaps a reinstall is in order.....especially if its happening to every aircraft and airports etc.

So I think I have two issues.

I have a scenery conflict which is causing all of my ils’s to not work. This is bizarre. I will try the half-half method using addon linker to determine which file it is.

I did try a clean community folder and the ILS’s worked! Thank you for everyone’s help. Does anyone in here also understand the modellib.bgl conflict issue?

Use AddonLInker (Tools > ModelLib Changer) to scan and rename scenery modellib entries in your scenery files. It will also update the relevant layout.json files to reflect the file name changes.

I believe the conflict is/was that in the early days all addon sceneries had the modellib.bgl file and it confused the sims scenery creation.

That is incorrect.

Only ONE of our airports has missing SIDs, that is KPDX. And the developer (iBlueYonder) is currently running a beta which contains the fix. Please don't spread misinformation.
