March 12, 20224 yr Is there any way to get into Content Manager OUTSIDE of MSFS2020 ? I found on YouTube a very quick way to reinstall 2020, but it requires going to Content Manager to reinstall - but can't even start 2020. Dave Hinson David Hinson
March 13, 20224 yr Sounds like you may be asking for trouble. Your original post was done 9h ago and just a routine uninstall/reinstall, and you'd already be up and running. I've done 2 reinstalls and they both went smoothly, and do not demand hardly any input from the user. And don't forget that you need to delete a ton of registry keys. 🙂 May the force be with you, ns Edited March 13, 20224 yr by bean_sprout AMD RYZEN 9 5900X 12 CORE CPU - ZOTAC RTX 3060Ti GPU - NZXT H510i ELITE CASE - EVO M.2 970 500GB DRIVE - 32GB XTREEM 4000 MEM - XPG GOLD 80+ 650 WATT PS - NZXT 280 HYBRID COOLER

March 13, 20224 yr Hi Dave, I can't help you with the content manager, but I have found and used a different way for a quick reinstall: Copy the Official / Packages folder somewhere safe. (Or rename it temporarily) (This is the bulk of the data) Uninstall then re-install MSFS Copy the Official / Packages folder back to where you want it before starting MSFS Start MSFS, when it asks where the data folder should be, navigate back to where you put the Packages folder. MSFS won’t re-download any of the Packages folder. However, it will check for corrupt files and update it if it is out of date. I don't take credit for this, found it online months ago. It really works very quick, just rename the packages folder instead of copying it somewhere. Good luck Mick PC: Gigabyte X670 Aorus Elite, AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4080 Super Aorus Master, DDR5 G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo 2X32 GB, Corsair HX 1000, Fractal Torrent, Samsung LC32 / G7 1440P.
March 13, 20224 yr I would love for a way to browse the marketplace or content manager without starting MSFS, but unfortunately I do not see that happening anytime soon (if ever). James
