April 26, 20224 yr they said we would now be able to edit the extra flights in the log book. does anyone know how to do this?
April 30, 20224 yr Is this fix in conjunction with the fact that not all takeoffs and landings are recorded unless clearance is requested from ATC?

I always start cold and dark on the ramp and I never get both take off and landing logged. Always one or the other. Then on top of that, because I always shut down after landing, I get a duplicate zero time entry- on every single flight. My log book is a mess and it has been since my first flight on launch day. It’s one of the basic things that Asobo just can’t fix. I suppose maybe because people don’t vote for it or something. Anyway, it is not a bug I lose sleep over. I also use this for logging all my flights. I have flights from years ago when I was flying P3D, it keeps them forever. https://www.lrmclient.org/

My log book is a mess and it has been since my first flight on launch day. Like you, I always shut down after landing and got a duplicate zero time entry in my log book. I've noticed, however, that since SU9 was introduced on Tuesday, that's no longer the case (at least for me). Hopefully this problem has been fixed with SU9. My log book too was a mess because of these duplicates. And I too would sometimes not get credit for a takeoff if I hadn't cleared the takeoff with ATC after a cold-and-dark startup. I have not tried this tip yet, but about a month ago another member here said that when starting cold and dark, if you taxi to the fuel station and then proceed from there the flight is logged. Might try it. I have tried changing a fuel load (loading menu) when starting and after starting a cold and dark flight and that does not seem to work. I log my flights in a Microsoft Excel workbook I started years ago. I have one sheet (tab) in the workbook set up to pull in hours-in-type from the main sheet where all flights are logged. Also have it set up to tabulate hours in each sim, by year. In Excel I can make it track whatever I wish as long as the columns recorded in the main sheet contain the necessary information.
