Juneau Alaska scenery?

Featured Replies

Anyone know where I can get that Juneau scenery I keep seeing on AvAngle's reviews?

I think it may be default....I have that scenery too, but don't remember downloading it from anywhere.

I’d love to know, too! That airport has probably one of the most challenging and beautiful LDA approaches in the world.

PAJN Juneau is added automatically with ORBX Alaskan Mesh. No other airports are added in the package, only that one. Alaskan mesh in wonderful by the way and is surely what she's using. Oops I called her Shirley 😞

wow, that's really weird. I've got the premium delux super duper diamond edition. I really don't remember doing anything or adding anything to alaska as a whole, other than the ORBX mesh.

So THAT's what it is! Seems weird that they didn't advertise it anywhere. Eithe rway, the mesh is awesome on its own. PAJN is an added bonus!

ORBX mesh does not cause stutters as much as the Swiss mesh (not ORBX). The problem started along about Sim Update 6 or 7 when one of the two kinds of mesh began to cause stutters. Neither caused stutters before that update. People disagree which type of mesh is better. But at least the kind ORBX uses does not cause many stutters.
