May 22, 20224 yr Hi fellows, I installed AIG roughly 3 weeks ago for msfs. In cruise I even saw the contrails of the AI aircraft! All of a sudden after WU9 it seems AI traffic have lost their contrails? Can anyone confirm. Looking for fix as well. May 22, 20224 yr Seen several AI planes with contrails recently. So in my case no obvious issue... Greetings, Chris AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 2x32GB DDR5 6000MT/s RAM, MSI RTX 4090 Ventus 3X, Windows 11 Home, MSFS2024
May 22, 20224 yr I have yet to see contrails on AI aircraft. Using AIG. At what altitude do these generally appear, and must you be flying at these altitudes yourself to see them. I mostly fly GA but even if I look up at the jets I don't see any contrails. May 22, 20224 yr contrails are only displayed on the modern converted airplans and only when the user airplane is flying high enough as well - this is a limitation of MSFS

I looked it up at various topics. My best guess is I did not come across any modern model variants for now. Thanks for replying Kaiii. You guys do wonderful job for us. One question though, I know that Asobo is responsible for traffic behaviour as such, but is there any effect by preventing AI traffic getting stuck when vacating the runway? I thought about making rollout distance AI bigger to make them stop later on the runway. Does it make any noticable changes when I edit the brake section in the file systems.cfg/aircraft.cfg? You can get it from Kai's website. https://www.alpha-india.net/forums/index.php?topic=35642.0 You will need the free FSUIPC also for it to connect to MSFS.

Seems to be useful, I will check on that. AI clogging up makes aircraft spin around and do weird stuff. I tried AI companion but I get Exception Error JIT-debugging stuff. Simconnect not found error. I installed FSUIPC, I started via FSUIPC MSFS exe, AIG TC on, then in Sim I started AI companion. Green bar loaded up and then the Exception Error Red cross JIT-debug error related to simconnect.dll... What to do to fix? Open up the AI companion root folder and set the exe application to run as admin.

Where should this folder be placed actually? I have it ay my desktop. Perhaps it needs to be in a Sim folder for obvious reasons? Perhaps I missed something. Make sure all your dot net packages are up to date. Other than that i have no idea why you get that error!. Not sure if this will help but grab the MSFS SDK download as well from the developer mode. Might be a sim connect issue.
