May 29, 20224 yr When I try to use the GPS 530 in MSFS, it's impossible to make it work. These blue and yellow colors that come up when trying to program the radios and the destination just don't work. I've downloaded the supposed "fix" for this, and although I got the "go to" to allow me to put in my destination, I can't get the Nav radio to work so that I can set the frequency for the destination. I click on the correct button but it just doesn't move. Has anyone else found this GPS programming difficult? I'm doing this on the 172 and other planes that have the direct to capability. I'm at a loss for this.

Not sure what you are running into? The knob interaction in MSFS may have been reset, from the legacy mode, resulting in the colors when mousing over the knobs.. is that what you are seeing? Bert

When the mouse touches the control knobs, the colors appear for the outer knob and the inner cursor knob. My main problem is that I can't toggle BETWEEN the VLoc knob from the Com knob. Supposedly by pushing the inner knob labeled C/V, I should be able to go to the Vloc area so that I can change the radio frequency. That's what I cannot do now. Since I downloaded the GNS Mod, I am able to input the airport code on the right side of the GPS. My problem is the left side of the GPS where the radio frequencies are.

You know, Bert, you have helped me solve many problems over the years. And today...YOU DID IT AGAIN! That was the one adjustment that gave me the ability to tune my radios in these GPS units. Cockpit Interaction system was the key! I never even knew that existed. Much appreciated as always, Bert. I think I'll fly into Prince Ruppert (CYPR) today in honor of YOU! Thanks again. Stan
