Anyone know what would cause a mismatch on the ND of 15 degrees in the heading and path on the Captains sides vs. the FO Side?

Is there an option for independent heading bugs in the fms?

Try to force the captain INS on the F/O side

Wind?  One is showing HDG the other is showing track.  

Note that one ND is displaying, and one is displaying track.  I have no idea how you might have managed to configure it that way though ;).

 

Something very strange there. As an airline option, there are 2 choices to select for both NDs at the same time. Either is in track up or heading.

There is an option on the CDU, aircraft, and displays,  page 5/9 where you can choose what you would like. Try to recycle that option.

 

I just noticed now that one says HDG and the other says TRK.  I kind of suspected that when I was flying and was looking around for the switch to change it but there is none I could find in the 737 (unlike the 747 and 777).  I didn't go into any of the config menu's so not sure what happened.  If it happens again I will try to recycle that setting.

Would you be so kind and let us know about the outcome? I think that it might help to know if that issue went away.
