FSElite Fenix A320 Review

I don't have a problem with having multiple products in a segment.  If FS Labs can do something great then they should.  If somebody we never heard of has something great to offer, and Fenix was brand new, then why not get in the market (especially one as big as MSFS).  Maybe Toliss or FF will shock us all!

As for the Boeing side, I agree that more options there are welcome too.  I wouldn't complain if Zibo or iFly or another new developer forced PMDG to innovate a bit.

In the end, more options is always a good thing -- and it won't hurt prices either.

Inibuilds is coming with their A300 series. Something to keep an eye for.

I'd prefer it if scarce development resources were used to develop types we don't have yet in MFS, versus ones that have already been done to a high standard. We have a nice freeware A320 and a nice payware A320. Another A320 is not going to scratch my turboprop and RJ itch, nor will it reduce the money I already spent on the A320. It's a free market of course and developers are restricted by what they can get access to, but the smart money doesn't chase a saturated segment.

This is the exact same discussion every time a new payware airport is released for LEPA Palma, although you can now choose between 17ish different developers who have already created a rendition of this airport.

Looks like an Internet phenomenon: How many different LEPA sceneries will sell well on the simmers market?
20? 50? 100?

I do absolutely agree with you, @ckyliu.

I don't buy another A320, cause I've already got an awesome freeware A320-251N and an awesome A320-214, but what I'd absolutely spend money on is a 757, an A310 or a Dash 8 😉
