Master Profile Presets

Featured Replies

Is there a way that you can set up presets for control options for individual aircraft? For example, when I use the PMDG 737, I have to go through each of my controllers to ensure they are set for the 737. The settings for say the Fenix A320 are in some cases different, so I choose different profiles. Wouldn't it be great to be able to manage these individual profiles and merge them into a master profile, so that I would just have to click one button for the PMDG 737 and another button for the Fenix A320 and so on.

You can set up multiple profiles for any mouse, keyboard, or peripheral (yokes sticks throttle quadrants) in the controls section of the sim, as well as custom naming of each profile for every and any plane you fly. Plenty of youtube videos on how to do this.

Once this is done, all you have to do is select a profile for a given aircraft you've configured- keep in mind each peripheral is separate. For example, if you fly the A320 and you have a stick and quadrant, you must select each profile you've configured for each peripheral (one for the stick and one for the quadrant). You cannot choose single profile for a group of peripherals at once.

@SuqadronLeader, that's a good idea, and actually one I've seen mentioned by some users too...

Maybe you can open a thread at their official forum - flightsimulator.com

just submitted it as a request - and when I went to review my activities - the status was shown as 'solved' - only two minutes after submission. So, I guess it has not, or will not be read.

Afaik this suggestion has already been made somewhere on the official forums. Hat could explain it. But I would think they would explain that it is a duplicate request.

This is a drawback with most flight sims, Thus the need for FSUIPC paid version. it takes care of that problem, as long as you build the controls in FSUIPC. They load automatically.
