Live ATC and Real traffic, MD-82 video

Featured Replies

New to the MSFS scene, but I decided to make a video of me doing a live flight with Live ATC and Real Traffic(PSXT). Hope it's ok to post it here in the general forum.

Well done!

Would you mind explaining how all of this is setup?

Thanks, I’m still very new to video editing but slowly learning.
In order to make this work realistically, I basically try to find live Atc coverage from LiveATC.net, find a flight that I can emulate from either FlightAware or FlightRadar24, and then pair it up with PSXT and RealTraffic. It takes some finessing initially, but once you know how to set it up, it’s really fun and rewarding.

Well done. I enjoyed that.

Great video!

And thanks for demonstrating so clearly (at 1:16) how you can take the place of a real live aircraft via the "Block callsign" function of PSXseeconTraffic.

Thank you for making that function possible! Now let's get the FENIX compatible with this excellent program 😋

I’ve been trying to ask them on their discord multiple times, but get ignored every single time.

I bought the Fenix today and are at the Discord server too. I have responded to one of the posts about this problem. Will see...

Being a Boeing 767/752 pilot it is not easy to get the airbus in a cruize flight for a TCAS test. There are no predefined flights you can load, are they? (Like in P3D).

As far as I know, no predefined flights are available for the FENIX, but the TCAS should be able to work on the ground as well for testing purposes. People seem to have it working with regular AI, but it’s unfortunately not recognizing the PSX injected traffic.
