August 4, 20223 yr I think trying to code in AI ATC is an unrealistic goal, IMO. I never understood the appeal of it. I think resources could be better spent elsewhere. As far as WT goes; they've added a value to the core sim that you almost can't put a number on. We can argue what should have been at release, but where we are now is all that matters. Once they get the default flight planner and the G3000/5000 done, the bang for your buck...FOR FREE..will be insane. Now it's just a matter of getting the rest of the WX engine nailed down (which is getting close, I think), the rest of the physics down, and the rest of the variables unlocked for key binds (sim and camera) (home cockpit, etc.) and we'll be set. I think resources could be better spent elsewhere. I disagree. Pilot2ATC and a few others have proven that it’s possible and immersive with very small development teams. All the technology is there. Unfortunately, it’s scattered across several add-ones that are mostly mutually exclusive. If you could combine the best elements of all of them, you’d have a winning ATC solution. The problem is, there’s only one dev studio that could pull that off… but they don’t seem to care… II suspect they think the same as you, which is a shame. Edited August 4, 20223 yr by Virtual-Chris

August 25, 20223 yr Anyone else tried the visual approach option? It's quite fascinating as it basically guides the aircraft laterally and vertically down to the runway. It even has a glide path. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5
