The developer is working with me but its delving into regedits and I'm not sure I want to do that. Did you by chance upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11? Windows 11 has a lot of issues with some apps. Anyway, what is wrong with Pilot2ATC? 7800+4090+64ram Just Flight RJ, 146 and F28, Piper Arrows ---A2A Aerostar and Comanche---Black Square Starship, Duke(s), TBM, Bonanza/BaronV2, KingAir---FSReborn FSR500---COWS Da42---FX P180, HJet & VJet---FlySimWare Chancellor and LearJet---FlightSimStudio EMB175 &P2006T---Fenix 320---PMDG DC6, 737(700+900), 777---C22J---Milviz Cessna 310 & Porter---SimWorksStudios Kodiak, PC12, Zenith & RV14---BigRadials Goose---IndiaFoxEcho MB3339+F35.
February 25, 20233 yr @Sonosusto I figured it out. I had it installed with Win 11 before. Had a HD crash and was installing it on a secondary drive. I reinstalled in on the C drive and everything worked. So weird but I'm glad its working.

Once you get it working its pretty much a "set and forget" type of app. I literally do not fly without it. When I upgraded to Win11 about 6 months ago, it broke that app. So, I reinstalled Win10 just to keep that ATC program. Dave, the developer, helped me when I decided to upgrade again. There is seriously no other developer I've encountered in my 12+ years of flight sim like Dave. I would really read the manual (its all still relevant). Then link it up with Navigraph data and you're set. Probably the best offline ATC program out there. 7800+4090+64ram Just Flight RJ, 146 and F28, Piper Arrows ---A2A Aerostar and Comanche---Black Square Starship, Duke(s), TBM, Bonanza/BaronV2, KingAir---FSReborn FSR500---COWS Da42---FX P180, HJet & VJet---FlySimWare Chancellor and LearJet---FlightSimStudio EMB175 &P2006T---Fenix 320---PMDG DC6, 737(700+900), 777---C22J---Milviz Cessna 310 & Porter---SimWorksStudios Kodiak, PC12, Zenith & RV14---BigRadials Goose---IndiaFoxEcho MB3339+F35.
March 24, 20233 yr Can those in the know add "Missed Approaches" to the feature lists? Thanks Clark Janes

It even maps it out on the map function. 7800+4090+64ram Just Flight RJ, 146 and F28, Piper Arrows ---A2A Aerostar and Comanche---Black Square Starship, Duke(s), TBM, Bonanza/BaronV2, KingAir---FSReborn FSR500---COWS Da42---FX P180, HJet & VJet---FlySimWare Chancellor and LearJet---FlightSimStudio EMB175 &P2006T---Fenix 320---PMDG DC6, 737(700+900), 777---C22J---Milviz Cessna 310 & Porter---SimWorksStudios Kodiak, PC12, Zenith & RV14---BigRadials Goose---IndiaFoxEcho MB3339+F35.
July 6, 20232 yr FSHud - I just did a flight from NZMF to NZQN. I entered the flight plan with a ceiling of 14000. Now, that area of NZ is extremely mountainous. I left NZMF and climbed to 10000 which is high enough to clear all the mountains. Then QN tower grabbed me and tried to descend me to 2000 on a 079 heading. The heading was fine but 2000 is right into the bottom of the mountains. I ignored the descent then they had me descend to 7000 which I followed. 7000 is still too low. So I went to 7000 and requested cruise alt increase which was denied then I requested 10000 which was again denied. SI manually topgunned throught the gaps in the hills and then manually vectored myself to the 05 RNAV approach at QN. I have had better experiences in PF3 and Pilot2ATC which will descend me via the arrival under my own steam and stating an altitude to be at by waypoint *******. FSHud seems to be decent for airliner ops but I was vectored like I was in a fighter onto an ILS approach which overshot me. This was done from a real world flight plan in the pmdg 737-600 YSSY - YMML. So having used and currently still use P2ATC and PF3, I cannot recommend FSHud above them. Although, the traffic component of FShud is excellent. PF3 won't control traffic but will passively interact and direct you around them even for taxi routes and has holds which is nice. P2ATC had the best vectoring I've encountered so far but it felt like I was flying alone in the sky but I'd say if you aren't a native US speaker be cautious as I find that it struggles quite a lot to pick up my aussie accent correctly, even after doing a lot of the grammar training . I haven't tried PROATC as it's 81.38 Australian, if I could refund FSHud and grab that I would. I snagged PF3 for half that. I'd love to give it a go but there is no trial period from what I can gather. If I had to pick only one, I would pick PF3 for immersion's sake even though the user interface is behind the others.
