September 1, 20223 yr As can be seen in my signature I have an old very mid range system. But I can still run 4 screens including pop out G530 for AirManger and control with knobster. The multi views are great, much more realistic than NVIDia Surround or similar. With side monitors angled the immersion is fantastic, much nicer than VR IMHO, it is nice to have functioning knobs and be able to run all the switches and dials on the controls. I get much better frame rate than I do with similar setup in X-planes multi screen views. FS2020 is not quite as mature as X-plane version, but this is only BETA, so a fantastic start. Here is an iPhone video showing how I use it: Com GA Pilot, Retired • FS2020 • FS2024 • Xplane 12 • Current Machine: MSI B760 GAMING PLUS WIFI• Gaming Desktop Motherboard Intel B760 Chipset • Intel Core i7 (14th Gen) i7-14700 3.40 GHz Processor 64GB RAM • 2 / M.2 SSD 1TB • MSI NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER
September 1, 20223 yr Can you make also a separate window on the same or a separate screen showing a different view? E.g. external? In other words, can I have the VC on the main screen and then a second window for external view now? thx Guenter Steiner -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Betatester for: A2A, LORBY, FSR-Pillow Tester --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
September 1, 20223 yr Right now, if I have something on my second screen and I'm clicking on it and then come back to MSFS nothing works until I click on the main screen again. Is it different in SU10? Rick Abshier 5900X | RTX 5070 Ti OC| 64 GB@3600 | India Pale Ale

I have my 3 top screens set as a single screen using NVIDIA surround. And have 3 windows from FS2020 and one from Navigraph and it runs great. I have no idea if this is how final release will look and work. Is it different in SU10? You still need to have FS2020 be the active screen to pan views etc. This has not changed. But all the USB controllers work no matter what screen is active. This is also the same in BETA. Air Manager controlled instruments on the touch screen or with USB Knobsters etc. work great as before as well. I think this is a Windows OS limitation, only one "window" is active at a time. Zoom is still not individual. Below are my 2 extra windows settings. There is no way to set external separate view, but when switching to external, all views go external. Just like X-plane. It would also be nice to eliminate the aircraft from the views as you can in X-plane. September 1, 20223 yr Hmmm.. or you can just go VR and save a ton of desk space and have a much better 3d view than having a dozen monitors! Chris Camp

The problem with VR is you can't really use switches dials and levers. This feature of multi views is really for a pretty small group of users that build cockpits. VR is great just different.
