September 28, 20223 yr They had a few setbacks of course, namely a ground power unit that caught fire and wrecked the prototype, but the delay was actually helpful as it turned out. During the delay, new electric motors became available that were three times more powerful. This meant they could dispense with the three motor design and just opt for two. The only issue with that two very powerful electric motors on the wingtips posed issue regarding asymmetric thrust if an engine went out, so they mounted them close together at the rear.
September 29, 20223 yr It has a range of 440 miles. How long does it take to recharge? I couldn't find that information. I might have missed it. Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.

September 30, 20223 yr It looks like just the thing for feeder airlines that connect small cities (like Roswell) to major airports (like Albuquerque). 200 miles. It would be less than an hour flying time. Or maybe even to Dallas (378 NM). How long before they become available? Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.
