3 guys I would never bet against: Bezos, Musk, and Gates. Especially Bezos. Anyway here's Tesla reveal today.

Boston Dynamics robots seem way more advanced.

Me thinks Elon has some catching up to do.

Impressive progress considering Boston Dynamics had a head start though.

I find it amusing that Elon was the one warning us about the dangers of AI,... so he now makes an AI robot. 😁

Some might say that the next stage of human evolution is cyborg. Almost all of us are cyborgs now, fillings in out teeth, contact lenses, artificial limbs etc. What do we do in 50 - 100 years time when our next door neighbors have superior limbs and eyes that can see 100 miles and through walls? Do we say no thanks, or do we opt for the upgrades? What about brain implants that improve our cognitive ability?

And beyond the cyborg, what then? Is the stage of human evolution beyond that artificial intelligence? Would an advanced civilization that sent probes here, or visited in person, be a form of AI rather than organic?

I guess the Tesla robots are.... intriguing enough, but without seeing more, my first impression would place them generations behind Cyberdyne Boston dynamics, whose robots have reached the point of such dexterity that a surprising number of people prefer to believe they are computer fakes rather than real.

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.

many people who you would expect to know better, now proclaim that recent videos are computer fakes.

I am sure the videos are not fake. The robots are very impressive but sometimes things go wrong (1:58):
