October 11, 20223 yr Least we forget, in 2003, it was Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley who had Meigs Field bulldosed illegally in the middle of the night with no notice, stranding several aircraft... I believe Meigs was a default airport in the early days of MS flight sims - I "flew" out of there many, many times back then...

[Haven't been to the Downtown or Navy Pier area in a year now...used to visit quite often..maybe I should, after viewing your pictures here...Also, occasionally used to take Southwest 737s from Midway .... drop-off/pick-ups were more common...]
