MSFS 2020

I purchased an aircraft thru Steam and have receipts from both Steam and my bank. But no aircraft in the hangar. Clueless here......

Make a ticket with msfs support.

Have you checked your emails?  Not sure how Steam works for individual aircraft, but when you buy then from some 3rd Party suppliers, they send you a link by email, which allows you to download the aircraft to your computer which you then copy and paste into your Community File in MSFS.

It does not show as owned and it is still available to purchase. There is no email and I did purchase through Steam- which has provided me with a receipt.

It's been a while since I purchased through the Marketplace, but thought your purchase in Steam buys you credits. So you can then go into the MP and buy the aircraft using the credits.

Been a while though...

Check your Steam wallet. You probably just bought credit for your wallet and now you need to spend it in the sim marketplace.

My Steam wallet shows 80 credits balance. I boot MSFS and try to purchase the aircraft and am presented with the opportunity to add funds. I click the tab and am sent to the window in which to select Paypal/Visa/ etc. Something in me resents the chance to pay twice.

Isn't there an option to pay with Steam? That would take you to the Steam Store where you select to pay with your wallet credit (not credit card). I bought from Marketplace using my Steam credit once and I think that's what happened, but can't remember well because it was a long time ago.

Do you have the Steam overlay enabled? Some people say they couldn't buy on the marketplace with steam credits with it disabled.

I don't know if the overlay is enabled or not. I don't know how to enable it. I'm not stupid- I know enuff to be dangerous! 🤪

And now for some reason MSFS is not in sync with the cloud. No indication of problems with anything else. My d/l speed is 577.

Oh yes the obvious! Duh!

I followed the steps shown in the video and my overlay is enabled.
