July 14, 200718 yr All my personal opinion Jim. Don't take it personally. Your clouds were quite nice, I just preferred Flight Environment's clouds. I based my opinion on this observation. The forums over at Active Sky were always littered with people asking the question about how you run Active Sky weather with the Active Sky clouds turned "off". The reason was because they wanted to make sure they were running Flight Environment clouds instead. That questions had to be posted at least several times each day. You know, the kind of question that people started getting angry about because it was posted so many times. That is all my opinion was based on, that and my personal observation of course. Now that your product and the FEX/GEX product will be direct competitors, you will have to get used to people preferring one product over the other. Most of us consumers are pretty bummed out really. Most of us would have loved to integrate your great weather engine into Flight1's FEX/GEX software. Now we have to make a choice because they won't be compatible. I know I am going with whoever offers the best textures because this is what really effects my experience during flight well beyond what having "Real-World" weather does to my experience. I can't wait to see what FEX/GEX has to offer, just like the guy who started this post. It all comes down to what we see while flying that really impacts our experience the most. Again, "In my Opinion". I know you probably think my opinion is junk or garbage, but when in competition with someone this is an example of some opinions people are going to start creating as they start deciding which product will give them the best experience. Please, don't take this post personally. I am just a consumer posting his personal observations.
July 14, 200718 yr Was "Blue Sphere" one of the fixes? Because I seem to remember that working pretty well. Stan
