November 14, 20223 yr Good evening, Please excuse if this has been asked before. I am wondering why the sun in my sim always looks like a pale disc. I can turn the camera diretly to it and never get blinded or anything. Is this just not simulated (yet) or am i missing a particular setting here? Lens flare is activated in the settings. Can someone shed some light on this? Best regards, Tom Intel i9-13900K | Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Master | RTX4090 | 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5-6000 | Be quiet! Pure Loop 2 FX AiO | Win 11

I was thinking more of an effect of blinding when looking into the direction of the sun (if that makes sense.) Probably because people would complain when flying with the sun in front in default aircraft that have no shades (and there's no sunglasses in MSFS either). For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

But as with many other aspects it would be nice to have the option to chose. 🙂 Intel i9-13900K | Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Master | RTX4090 | 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5-6000 | Be quiet!
