November 25, 20223 yr Hi Everyone I noticed this scenery was on sale at the moment but it is very old (about 2013 vintage). Just wondering how much this airport has changed in that time and whether it bears any real resemblance to what it is today? would like to do some real world routes in P3D4.5 but also need to be able to shoot realistic approaches etc and taxi to realistic stand locations. Any thoughts? Regards Barra i7 7700K, 16GB 3200MHz DDR4, GTX1070 OC 8GB, 1TB Samsung SSD for OS and P3D4.4, W10 64Bit, Corsair H115i Water Cooling
November 25, 20223 yr I have it and there isn't any problems with the approaches and runways as near as I can tell. I Earned My Spurs in Vietnam
November 25, 20223 yr No changes in approaches. I have all the current released Jepp charts for PHNL (cycle 2223) and all work fine. No new approaches. Have a good weekend! November 25, 20223 yr Commercial Member There’s been some significant changes to the airport. The base terminal is still OK along with taxiways and runways, but the gate numbers have been totally redesignated, some expansion at inter island gates, and the airport itself has been renamed. If the price is right, it’s “fine” but I wouldn’t expect any developer to really incorporate an overhauled or updated HNL at this point. November 25, 20223 yr Also, the ramp and building textures on the south side of the airfield (e.g. around the cargo ramps) are pretty low-res and underwhelming by today's standards. I usually work off of the Hickam AFB ramp on the northeast quadrant of the field when I fly cargo flights in there.
