Although we still know there is work to be done on the sim itself (and Asobo and WT are certainly doing it), some third party developers are throwing everything they can into the capability of their aircraft releases, and the Vison Jet and this Wilga are shining examples of that. They are both outstanding pieces of work, and some of the best aircraft I have owned in any sim. I take back my words on the price of the Wilga - for £30, and with the included scenery, it is well worth it. Sorry for resurrecting this thread, but couldn't contain my excitement as the shiny new Wilga downloads in the background. @bobcat999 you got me over the line with your persuasive arguments. No more sleepless nights dreaming about it...

No more sleepless nights dreaming about it... I love it, and GotFreinds are already showing their commitment to updates and enhancements, but then they do this so well even with their freeware. I hope they stick around and grow, and I can't wait to see what their next project is. PS. Don't forget to watch a few YouTube videos on the Wilga - there is quite a lot to it, quality and depth, and a few easter eggs! Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's. Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.
December 19, 20223 yr Thanks @bobcat999, its awesome so far. Although I cant figure out how to start the engine following the checklist. It really is a 'study level' Wilga! Totally agree about their commitment and outside the box thinking. Such devs must be supported as we all benefit from it.
