The Wilga will be available on December 7th, priced at $35. https://www.got-friends.com/products/wilga-35-80-series I think it's too expensive, I'll pass on this one. If it was around $20 I would think about it. If you already have a hangar full of the likes of the Husky and Zenith CH701 and Kitfoxes and Cubs it may be hard to justify yet another bush plane I suppose. However if you happen to be shopping for your first bush plane addon, this would have to be right up there in terms of value for money.

December 7, 20223 yr I have been following the development of Wilga very keenly. They have poured their heart and soul into the project. I was really looking forward to it until the price was announced. Despite everything, its still a bush plane and as someone else pointed out above, there is so much competition in the category that justifying spending US$35 on another seems a bit like a waste. I dont have any of the PMDG aircrafts and 737-600 suddenly seems like an attractive proposition.
December 7, 20223 yr The Wilga, especially this older version of the Wilga is quite a different beast to the Cubs and Cub-likes that are everywhere in sims today. She's significantly bigger, heavier and more powerful - intended as a true workhorse rather than just a plane to get in and out of small fields carrying nothing bigger than a small envelope. I wouldn't say myself this is A2A quality yet, but it's a very fine representation of a REALLY interesting and practical aircraft
December 7, 20223 yr Yes, the price is a bit of a surprise / disappointment for me. I don't know the hours that have gone into it of course (I am guessing a lot!), but I would have thought about $25 to start things off. I will buy it though, because 1. I really like this aircraft and want it, and 2. I have really enjoyed GotFriends freeware up to now, so I don't mind sending them my hard earned cash. I have spent countless hours in the free Savage Grravel, and really enjoyed it. The DC-3 / DHC-2 freeware addon pack is great as well. December 7, 20223 yr I have been enthusiastic about this one but I'm also put off by the price and the fact that I feel I have added so many great aircraft recently and haven't had time to explore them properly yet, I am not particularly in a rush to get another one. I wish that instead of so many variants they would also offer just the one for about $20. December 7, 20223 yr I must say Wilga is the best STOL I bought for MSFS ever. I just had a chance to explore one variant so far. There are so many! And thanks for the mini-review / opinion on it. It does look great, and visibility should be good from that cockpit. Are the sounds OK? Also, does the clipboard come with its own Bic biro retro pen? If not - deal-breaker for me! Another urgent question that needs answering for me... Is it pronounced Wilga, or Vilga? If we don't know, I shall have to refer to it as the PZL-104 for now. If we don't know, I shall have to refer to it as the PZL-104 for now. I must say it feel very nice and smooth in pitch control. There is way to mishandle/stress engine (with realism on) so it may quit in mid flight. It's an school bird similar to old soviet YAK-18 or YAK-12. I flown one back in Ukraine so Wilga remind me of that. Wilga was my first airplane ever I took ride when I was 7 or 8 years old with my dad! W pronounced as "V" in "view". At least that how we call called PZL-104 in Ukraine - "Vilga" (soft L). Not is that how correctly pronounce in Polish though. Gotta ask folks from Poland! Modern version has simple auotupilot (alt, pitch, bank). Since I tried only one so far it sounds very good! Here is a list of interactive features straight from manual: Vibrating Gauge Components, Vibrating Flight Sticks, Vibrating Engine Cowling, Vibrating Hanging Accessories, and Vibrating Cargo. ▪ Prop Wash Vibration Effects on Rudder and Elevator. ▪ Start-Up Combustion, Low Fly-By, Touchdown, Snow and Water Spray Effects. ▪ Custom Float Landing, Taxi, and Take-Off Physics with working Water Paddle Simulation. ▪ Working Windshield Wipers with Visual Rain Displacement and Icing Removal. ▪ G-Force Movement of Cargo, Hanging Accessories and Fuel Bobbers during flight. ▪ UV Light Dimming with Increased Engine Power (Electrical Power Effects). ▪ All flight models have been developed to take advantage of the NPS (New Propeller Simulation), CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and SBS (Soft Body Simulation) features. Cockpit Clickable Features: ▪ Windshield Sun Visors: o Toggle via Clicking Each Visor ▪ Headphone Mode: o Toggle via Clicking Aux Ports on Pilot/Copilot (Lower Dashboard) ▪ Cabin Windows and Vents: o Toggle via Clicking on Each Window / Vent Handle ▪ Hide Left and/or Right Doors: o Toggle via Clicking on the Red Lever above Each Door ▪ Lock/Unlock Gust Lock: o Toggle via Clicking the Gust Lock in front of the Pilot’s Flight Stick ▪ Hide/Unhide Flight Sticks: o Toggle via Clicking on the base of each Flight Stick ▪ Attach/Remove Winter Ski Kit: Only Available on 35A and 80 o Toggle via Drop Skis Lever ▪ Move Aera Navigation Tablet: Only Available on the 35X and 80X o Toggle using the Locking Handle Above Aera ▪ Deploy Water Paddle: Only Available on the 35H and 80H o Ensure Engine is OFF and Gust Lock is LOCKED.
