Reverb G2 -blinking gray every few seconds randomly

Featured Replies

Anybody encountered this problem?
Screens started to blink gray for just like a second on each eye randomly.
Interesting thing is that it is visible on monitor reprojection also.
DX 12, MR on stable 45 fps with 30% overhead. All Win11 updates, latest drivers.

The "inside out" tracking is a little bit sensitive to certain lightning consitions and becomes gray when it looses track. The headset dont like darkness, but also too much light can disturb it. Thats the only thing I can think of, but I maybe wrong and your issue could be something completely different.

It's not that. That was my first suspicion also. there is a setting in WRP to turn off that efect if positioning is problematic.

And that effect is not seen on monitor. But this blinking is seen on monitor also. randomly for each eye reprojection.

Found the bug.

Its Bloom setting. If bloom is on then it blinks.

Workaround is to turn bloom off and it works without any problems.

Interesting! I have had the Reverb G2 turn gray from time to time as well and I have Bloom turned on as well. Will turn it off and hope for the best 👍

Strange, never had issues with bloom...

I haven't either, though I accidentally block two of the headset cameras it will go grey

Workaround for me was to be sure my TrackIR wasn't turned on...

I have this when I start the first flight in the sim, since a week or so. It does it a few times and then it is normal again. Will check bloom setting though.
