It isn't like the code is locked down or we're the only people on this earth that can mod charts into an avionics system. This is key - the fact that MSFS is letting other devs continue to modify first party features is really great. I wouldn't be surprised to see all these features added in by some other developer(s) within a few months (after AAU is live).

But as a first party developer on the MSFS team do you know which way the wind is blowing? - Agreement between Microsoft and Navigraph? That would probably allow Xbox user to use charts and get their plane position real time on them - MSFS Charts+ integration, which was announced before release? That was MSFS plan at first, but did not hear anything about it for quite a long time - Navigraph own software to inject data? They could be slow at developing a solution, will require an extra program to run in the background

I don't really have any additional information, other than I heard Navigraph intended to make a charts plugin for the G3000/5000 after release (given our architecture, would not require external software and would work on XBox). That was via some forum post, so I don't know much more than that or if it is truly confirmed. That's the only information I have. Edited December 20, 20223 yr by MattNischan

I haven't had time to install the beta but I'm wondering about the forward landing light when viewed from the cockpit. Currently without the freeware mod you could barely see the taxi/landing lights from within the cockpit. I hope this has improved. Night lighting is very important especially if you're upgrading the avionics as this time of year daylight is short.😏 FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR
