Availability of 4090's

Yep, I still wasn't able to get the 4090 since its release on October 12th and I am refusing to pay the scalpers. Does anyone know if there are any hints for an upcoming release wave any time soon? This is getting beyond ridiculous.

Watch Best Buy. They've had MSI 4090s come available at MSRP recently. Of course, they sell out quickly so you need to check often. I've also seen on YouTube that some Micro Centers have stock moving through their stores, but for in-person only. Can't verify this, just seen a few references. 

I've found setting up a favorites list in PC Part Picker and populating it with any 4090 model/brand you'd be willing to buy will let you quickly scan most of the online stores with one click.

The only 4090s I've seen on Newegg not being sold by the shameless scalper brigade in the last month was an MSI hybrid water-cooled version that was available for a day or so.

A few have shown up at the Denver Microcenter in the last week, as well as being intermittently available at BestBuy.com

I have PTSD driving in traffic from Commerce City down to Microcenter so many times already 🤣 as one of their sales people told me they get them and never list them. I haven't been back in a while, I may take a drive down there tomorrow morning. 

@Wise87 was kind enough to set me up with some nice tools to track the inventory and potentially get lucky, I really would like the Founders Edition.

I got in a preorder for an MSI Suprim X from BestBuy Canada for MSRP. Ships by Jan 9. Kind of stoked to get the MSI card.

Well well well, I got lucky today, what do you know!? I drove to Microcenter this morning, got there 20 minutes before opening and lined up to get in. Was first in line but there were people in the cars in the parking lot and by the time door opened, there must have been 20+ people behind me. They had ONE 4090 in stock, one! I won today, what a day!

This GPU is a monster performer. Had a totally flawless flight EWR-BOS in the 738 at dusk, wow!

I see this loosely as The Great 'Tech' Depression era we are in. Waiting in line, scalpers taking advantage of people, low supply, crappy service, lack of workers.

Shame on me but I just caved in and placed order for a PNY 4090 on eBay. $1910 ($2025 with tax), about $300 over MSRP so I thought it's not too bad, but still, shame...

It is ridiculous that Nvidia still can't get the 4090 in stock. What the hell is wrong with them? Are they deliberately keeping 4090 in short supply? If so, what do they gain from doing this?
