New E2 Honda Jet

Ok please help. So I’ve updated to the new version of the Honda jet. But I’ve lost below my map, the vnav chart showing top of decent, and the flight path down the decent so long as I was on full map view and not half screen. Then when I went into flc I wanted to set the speed to what knots I wanted on the panel but couldn’t change it. However if I went down to the fmc I could select it from there or type on what knots I wanted. I must be doing something stupid wrong.  With the 2 issues. I don’t have any mods. I’ve only downloaded from the msfs store.

Oh my.  Lets tidy things up a bit here.  The lower devices shown above are Garmin Touch Controllers (GTC not GTN). I have no idea what a VAMS button is.  if the map window in this  image of the MFS is what you are trying to find, it is now selected in Map Settings, Inset Window, and you now have two options, one with just VNAV Situation Display, and the other with both VNAV Situation Display and an appreviated display of your upcoming flight plan waypoints.  You can now display the maps in up to four locations.  The left pane of each PFD when they are split, and either pane of the center MFD.  You will need to learn which cursor knob is controling which pane at any particular time by becoming familiar with the pastel colored bands across the top of each pane.  Learn how those cursors work by trying and watching those colored bands change.

You have two  nearly identical GTC's.  You use the bottom left cursor knobs on each one to select the panel you wish to control and to control aspects like ranges on the map, traffic, and weather pages.  I highly recommend you join the FlightFX Discord channel and seek out the "hjet-important-information" page there.  It contains links to publications, a written tutorial, and several video tutorials.  Make sure the tutorial you watch is the one for V2.

The left GTC controls the blue panel and the right GTC controls the purple panel.

The VAMS button is what they stuck into the GTC on the Vision Jet to control aspects of the airplane that in real life you'd control via means not available in the sim. Things like removing covers, putting on the headphones and activating noise cancellation, etc.

All the questions asked here have been answered in great depth many, many times over on FlightFX's Discord channel.

OK.  Was not aware of it.  This is a Hjet topic and the Hjet does not have a VAMS buttion.  It does have within Aircraft Systems a Sim Options page.  Just tidying up....
