New E2 Honda Jet

Featured Replies

I dont think i missed this but if not here goes

the new upgraded Honda jet 1.0.7 was released yesterday on the MSFS installation Pagethis is a part of the developer Martin's

statement on the discord channel coupled with a long list of Changelog

HJET 1.0.7 update has been released on the Microsoft market place and to our partner stores at Orbx, contrails and flightsim.to! This is a major feature update that overhauls the Hjet's Vnav system and provides exciting new functionalities that enable the HJET to showcase it's true brains as a single pilot flying machine. Vnav climb,Cruise and Descent are now fully implemented , with the ability to auto load and chart complex vertical paths for user designated altitude restrictions , as well as auto loading restrictions from published SIDs,STARs and Approaches , The VSD will chart the most efficient path to comply with both hard and non hard constraints such as "Between/At or Above/At or Below/At" type of constraint. This update also adds a fully functional auto Throttle system with automatic smart speed selection based on the phase of flight, give a watch to this video showcasing all the new features and how to use them (thanks @LesOReilly !)

There is more to come when the WT 3000 and 5000 gets relaesed in Jan - which will just about give us a new "Study Aircraft' - whatever that means

just did a lirf to lirq using vnav and at, nice!  now let's get the vision g2 updated, too.  these ffx a/c's are first rate.

When I zoom in closely on the dashboard, the white lettering becomes fuzzy and almost unreadable, say, in contrast, to the Kodiak's dashboard, where everything remains sharp, even zoomed in closely. Is there a setting I'm missing. Not using dlss.

If you let a native English read this sentence and he/she thinks... 😵

Funny, I didn't find the autothrottle button. )))

Did you enable E2 mode from the right GTC under sim options?

So this update adds a new plane?

There is the old honda jet and then the new "E2" version?

And you have to activate a setting to get the new "E2" version?

It doesn't add a new plane in the plane select menu, instead you switch between the original and E2 version with an option in the Sim optionsmenu in the right GTC control screen.

Is in the autopilot panel, at the center, a small button marked AT

I don't see the autothrottle. Where is he hidden?

Watch the video above....go to about 2:33 and you'll see.  Of course like Rob mentioned, you have to update to the latest version to get it.

Ok please help. So I’ve updated to the new version of the Honda jet. But I’ve lost below my map, the vnav chart showing top of decent, and the flight path down the decent so long as I was on full map view and not half screen. Then when I went into flc I wanted to set the speed to what knots I wanted on the panel but couldn’t change it. However if I went down to the fmc I could select it from there or type on what knots I wanted. I must be doing something stupid wrong.  With the 2 issues. I don’t have any mods. I’ve only downloaded from the msfs store.

Edited to remove incorrect info (thx fspilot):  If you look at the “GTCs” (NOT GTNs) in the lower console you will find what you need.  In there you will find a switch to reactivate the lower VNAV panel. Sorry I can’t be more specific but I’m not in front of the plane right now and this is all from my 66 year old memory LoL!  You’ll find all you need to know in the next post by FSPilot.

Good luck. New version with AAU1 components are is a blast!
