Maybe one of the biggest mismatches ever. But, that said, the good guys won.....🙂

Georgia seems to be able to recruit good players!  They have been a top team for several years now!

Indeed, they've done pretty well over the years. And that really helps with the recruiting:   http://www.winsipedia.com/georgia   .

There's a big elephant in the room: Alabama. This NIL business is going to greatly aid the very wealthy schools. I really believe that it is going to be very harmful to college football. Texas, Oklahoma and Texas A&M are very wealthy schools. All 3 have somewhat suspect coaching, but that will be resolved. It will be interesting to see what happens.

SMU in the past was fielding the best team money could buy, NIL gives more opportunities.

I thought Georgia would win but didn’t think it would be that lopsided. Michigan was no slouch and TCU handled them pretty well to get to the final. I figured TCU would lose by around 14 points but that was a lot worse than I expected.

My wife’s a TCU alum and she was pretty shocked as well and quit watching after the first half.

This game reminded me of the 2014 Super Bowl where Denver got spanked by Seattle 43-8. Denver had a good team that year, got down early and it just cascaded from there.

My all time favorite National Championship was Texas vs USC. I’m a Texas fan and was on pins and needles that whole game. That was probably the most exciting NCAA game I’d ever seen, next to the OU vs Boise State bowl game that Boise State pulled out the victory.

Reggie Bush is now making fun of himself for Wendys. He seems to be a nice guy... When the NCAA refused to give Reggie his Heisman trophy back, Wendys ran this add.

At least it is above board. That would be the upside.
