I'm in the HS Discord under a different username and in the CL650 beta.

Well don't be shy.  Make yourself known.

Lastly, I made my comment in response to the video because as entertaining as it is, it's frustrating that they can take the time to shoot/cut/upload these videos but can't take the time to communicate their roadmap and timeline for getting live weather up to the standard that Austin promised it would be when it was originally unveiled over a year ago (I think FS Expo 2022?).

He does this because he has a staff who do the work, while he goes out and makes videos.  There's a reason why road maps don't get published.  Something could go wrong, and the deadline doesn't get met.  Then there's hell to pay in the forums.  People used to ask me, "When will the Challenger be ready??".  Do you really think I can give them an answer?  Roadmaps get announced in due time.  And only when definitive items are planned.  The weather will get fixed.  I know when it will get fixed, but I'm under a permanent NDA.  I can say it's a high priority.

Very clear thank you, but I still think the next weather related moan will be within 24 hours 😂🤣😊

Thank you for your anecdote, the rest of the world still agrees that weather in XP12 is not working as it should.

Counter question: How "should" XP12's weather work? Wind gusts accurate to 0.05 kts compared to real world? Cloud shapes corresponding to ones seen outside? Light levels accurate to 0.0001 lux on a grey and dull day? Count of raindrops per m² off by a maximum of 2?

(@cagarini is not allowed to reply to these questions as the anwers would all be "Yes" anyway.)

Because XP12 is available on Steam and Steam is a game distribution platform, duh.

Just like FS20, DCS and IL-2, by the way.

They're all games now.

Game (hah!) over, "BUT IT'S A FLIGHT SIMULATION!"-people.

and it is not only "most realistic", according to pc gamer, but also the only game that is "FAA approved".

Oh come on. That's ridiculous. You know full well the weather's far off.

Oh, nobody here has listen to what Austin has shown to us. He told us about the spezial flightphysics of the F14. Austin is an perfekt Teacher who tells the stuff in an interesting way.

Youre so blind. Kindergarten

Show me a flight sim with accurate weather depiction and I'll show you a flying pig.
