The only thing that was close to MSFS was the simulator available in Google Earth some years ago... 2) The price of addons, specially those in Marketplace (where it's adjusted for purchase parity... i.e., very very good prices for poor countries like mine 😁). Special mention to the A310, available at just $/£/€/ARS 0. 3) As someone said before, the optimism about the development of the sim and addons. It's something I can't measure, but I can definitely feel it. This is the part lost on those focused on a few scraggly trees while ignoring an incredible forest (P3D'ers and XP'ers included). I find the entire immersion lucious! Very hard to quantify 'immersion' but it's there and continues to improve. My wish for the coming year or two is implementation of very well done shader-based seasonal changes synced to geolocation/elevation/slope direct and so forth. Seems doable, XP I read has some of this already. Substituting whole texture files (Bijans/AccuSeason) is crude as a tech for solving this and the fine control one could potentially have w/ subtle evolving change over the seasons is very compelling.
