So true! That video reminded me when I was in University. I was in the Jock Hardy arena at Queens University. I sat behind the sound engineer for Supertramp. Yes, very shortly before Supertramp went big with Even in the Quietest Moments.

I also saw Genesis before they went big! They did a midnight concert at Queens University. Peter Gabriel in costume too. Very sad to see the health of Phil Collins. Okay  enough, I’m rambling! But the music back in the 70’s is the music I associate with the most. ELO so distinctive!

Was that about when pilots flew without so much assistence?

Give me Tchaikowsky's 1812 Overture (with real cannon fire) or Beethoven's 5th any day.

BTW...I once heard the Denver Symphony Orchestra play the 1812 Overture outdoors one 4th of July with real cannon fire...a battery of 75mm howitzers in an empty parking lot a block away.  How's that for musical instruments?

The tires are worn.  The shocks are shot.  The steering is wobbly.  But the engine still runs fine.

Gotta love Supertramp! And I spent my life as a light and sound tech. (not a sound engineer) just to clarify 😉 And ELO were not just distinct but unique (still are) responsible for much of the evolution of music since....
