February 1, 20233 yr Author Hi Bert, First of all you can adjust RPM with the right hand throttle lever independant of manifold setting, On the other hand the maniifold pressure readout allways indicates a too high pressure, so you indeed need to pull the throttle back more than shown in the POH. Otherwise the feel of the the DA20 really comes close to the real plane.

February 4, 20233 yr Author Bert, Indeed it is different. The DA20 has 2 levers, left hand for throttle, right hand for RPM
