XP12.02r1 available

Featured Replies

It was only a small, 25 MB patch but my XP12 installation upgraded to 12.02r1 today. Update was so quick I didn't get a chance to see what files were touched and the release notes haven't been posted just yet.

Loaded up the Aerobask DA50RG at my home airport (CYKF) and everything seemed fine though.

Will update later at home and check the winds aloft & turbulence.... Those are my primary concerns right now...

Also loading flights from LPPT and nearby airfields, or into those airfields, for users on M1 processors...

Thanks for the updated info, @GoranM. Fixing memory leaks is always a good thing in my books.

I re-installed XP12 fresh but noticed at boot up I didn't get the option to upgrade from 12.01 - i then noticed no installer in the XP12 directory so I can't tick a beta box!  I have used XP12 since the re-install with no problems whatsoever.

Friendly reminder: WHITELIST AVSIM IN YOUR AD-BLOCKER. Especially if you're on a modern CPU that can run a flight simulator well. These web servers aren't free...

Wonder if it solved the bug of not being able to fly from or into Lisbon and nearby airfields when on Macs with M1?

No, I'm looking into this, but I think it's the airport itself. If you remove global airports, I was able to at least startup in the area. So the gateway airport seems to be bugged

I'll look into it after work and see if I can work out why it's broken

👍

Strangely it runs beautifully in my Windowze machine, with Ryzen 5600x and RTX 3060 Ti
